Welcome to Writings from the Heart... I strongly believe one's life should be lived with love, joy and laughter, following the beat of your own heart. One of my earliest passions was listening to stories and creating my own -- before I could decipher written language. As a young and voracious reader, I discovered many foreign lands, people, situations and words. The only drawback was finding out much later, after using a "new" word in conversation, how the word was pronounced!
We are all unique beings with our own views on life. As long as no one is hurt by those differences, I celebrate them as well as our common bond. I like learning about others' triumphs and challenges and how they deal with them, through their actions and beliefs and their life's work. Although I can learn the facts and mentally place myself in another person's mind, I realize I can never have his or her exact viewpoint, which is continually being molded each second a person lives.
Now I offer my viewpoint to you, through my writings, neither boastfully nor humbly, for every expression is valid as an expression. However, since we are all on a slightly different path here in this world, I don't expect my work to have universal appeal. If my writings say something to you, feel free to e-mail me at netska@geocities.com and share with me your experiences, beliefs, writings. If you are an optimist at heart and believe in the golden rule, you probably will enjoy my reflections on life, love and writing. If you want to find out more about me, see my biographical information page. If you enjoy fiction, try poetry and novels and plays...Also, if you are interested in all types of artistic expression by painters, sculptors, musicians, writers, etc., Art Without Borders is a forum that includes short biographies and selections of the work of contemporary artists from around the world. I helped sculptor/painter Rafael Arrieta-Eskarzaga with the web edition of this forum. And for genuine bronze sculptures from the old masters as well as from contemporary sculptors, visit Sun Foundry for their selection of over 300 statues, each individually cast in the ancient "lost wax" process, and finished and polished by hand. For your special occasion framing needs, visit Celebration Frames with Signature Boards that everyone can sign at your next event.
