Welcome to the Demention. No littering. The
Demention is a single panel cartoon created and
drawn by Gus Stevenson. It originally appeared in The
Montage, St. Louis Community College--Meramec's
student newspaper. The first episode was launched in
October, 1999. Gus worked on The Montage
as a staff artist, and later became the Graphics Editor
until he transferred to Fontbonne College in the Fall of
2001. The Demention appeared in a few issues of
Fontbonne's monthly newspaper, The Fontbanner.
The last panels were published in February, 2002.
The influences for this cartoon include Gary Larson's "The Far
Side", "The Simpsons", "Ren and
Stimpy", "Monty Python", halogen lamps,
and white elephants.
