My passion in life lies in traveling. I love to travel to far away places and stay there long enough to get a feel for the people, the culture and the place. For those that share the same interest click here for links to sites that I find informative and fun.

My hobbies are playing with my computer, writing, reading (mostly books on spirituality, traveling, software etc.) Authors whose writings I enjoy most include Joan Borysenko, John O’Donohue, Deepak Chopra, and Gary Zukav. I also like gathering pictures/drawings of beautiful imagery and collecting movies ... movies that inspire me (mostly foreign movies!) My collection of favorites includes The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Cinema Paradiso, Blue, Damage, La Famme Nikita, Camille Claudel, Mediteraneo, Mission, Legends of the Fall, Fried Green Tomatoes, Fire and so on. If you have seen some of these movies you probably would guess that my favorite actress is Juliette Binoche. I enjoy watching Modern Dance performances, cooking and eating with friends and family, having soulful conversations with fascinating people, playing with my nieces and nephews (nine of them!) and my cat, KIKA who does not live with me at the moment :-( but who I get to see very often! :-) I love walking in nature, running, swimming, camping, hiking, scuba diving, etc. I love all sorts of music but mostly prefer classical and New Age music. My favorite artists/groups include Kitaro, Ottmar Liebert, Govi, Yanni, Enya, Yo-yo Ma, Ray Lynch, Secret Garden and so on!
