This WEB site is a memorial monument for the Jews who lived and died in the Shtetl Debica (Dembica-Dembitz) near Krakow, Poland.

Many Jews left the town at the beginning of the 20th century and their descendants are scattered all over the world. I am one of them.

Most of Debica`s Jews were shot by the Germans during the Second World War.
We will never forget the victims!!!

I traveled Debica and the Krakow area in August 1996 in order to collect some information about my family, take photos and feel the atmosphere of this area.That was helpful in creating this home page for all of you in the world, who are interested in this subject.
