This webspace originally housed information about my Plymouth Neon as well as Dodge/Plymouth Neons in general. This page is now my tribute to my Neon because on May 22, 1999 "Lady" as I called her was mortally wounded in a car accident. My page is basically staying the same with the exception that I am adding pictures of my Neon after the accident, a page on what transpired that morning, and a new page of facts and information for people to think about when considering buying a Dodge/Plymouth Neon.

A little bit About the Neon in General
The Dodge/Plymouth Neon entered the automotive world as a concept car in 1993. I remember going
to the 1994 Houston auto show and seeing the concept car, I never thought that I would own one. The Neon
entered production in 1994 as an early 1995 model. In the US, Chrysler manufactered them as either a
Dodge or a Plymouth. However, in Mexico, Canada and Europe they are labeled as a Chrysler. The cars
entered the high paced compact car market as a 4-door sedan, and later 1995 a coupe was added to the family.
The engine available was a 16-valve SOHC 132-hp 4-cylinder. The sporty looks and performance soon
made the Neon Dodge's second best selling passenger car in America. Chrysler had made another winner out
of their cab-forward designing, and the current success of the Neon is insurance that it will be around
for a long time.
