My Macintosh Collection

Hi, i started this on July 17 of 1998

I've used computers since 1987. I started on an IBM 8088 with a green screen. I had always wondered about the Mac. That and my younger brother had been using them for years. In 2001 a local recycle shop opened a walk in store.

The computers that they get in are old & sell really cheap. So I decided to start checking out dif ones. I picked up an HP PA-RISC box, a unix system. Then I picked up a couple old tablet pc's & a couple laptops to play with since I had never messed w/ them.
Then one day they got in a bunch of Mac's.. I thought, I want something new to play w/ & picked up a PowerMac 7100/AV. It has a 500mb harddrive & 136mb ram & OS 8.1. After a couple weeks I found myself really enjoying the mac. So I started reading more about them & picked up a couple more old ones. This started to be even more fun. So as you may have guessed I've

SWITCHED

and now have a collection of over 2 dozen. My current fast Mac is the G3 All-In-One and my daughter has the rev A iMac. I'm not a pro but I've become familiar w/ them...UPDATES COMING SOON
