After 11 hours my buddy Aaron and I got it in. A BIG thanx goes out to Shawn Carlberg at Moss Motors for putting up with all my questions and grief and my pal Aaron. Without them I probably would have royally screwed up my car. :)
6/05 I got rid of the Talon and figured I would quit playing with cars for awhile. However, I can never pass up a good deal! As a result of my bad habit, I got THIS. It's a '98 Camaro Z28 Hardtop in Brilliant Green Metallic with an automatic transmission. This thing puts a big smile on my face everytime I mash the pedal! I was always dead set on getting a Z28 with the 6 speed manual transmission but for what I want to do with this car (drag racing) the automatic is perfect for me.
4/05 I am sad to report that my Civic is now bound for the salvage yard. I came home from work one rainy afternoon and as I approached my house I could see that the storm drain was backed up. It's happened before due to the negligence of the Crescent Township, PA road department in keeping the street clean. So, thanks to them my perfectly good car is now dead. However, I picked up a '96 Eagle Talon TSi AWD to replace it. I'm not sure if I want the headaches that go with DSM's though so I'll probably be selling it soon.
12/04 I traded my WRX in on something a little more family friendly. It was fun whooping on "fast" cars at the strip and on the street in a station wagon. However, it wasn't a very practical car and there were "signs" the whole time I owned this car telling me that we weren't meant for each other. Namely THREE accidents and a few trips to the dealership for warranty work. I'll never own another Subaru again. I paid $25,000.00 for something that was built no better than a Kia. What a waste of my time and money. My attention is now back on my Honda and auto-x'ing.
9/02 I bought a new '03 Subaru Impreza WRX. My attention is now focused on making this car faster. I plan on keeping the Honda as a backup car and auto-x car...it's been so reliable for me I'd hate to sell it.
