My Cars , past and present

1983 Pontiac Grand Prix LJ

This is my 1983 Pontiac Grand Prix LJ , it is currently laid up due to other commitments. I hope to get back to working on it next fall. It has a 350 4 bolt main from a mid 80's chev truck. The heads are centerbolts with 194 intakes and 160 exhaust valves, these heads were salvaged from an 88 Suburban 350 with police package. Cam is Comp Cams Extreme 268, exhaust is handled by Flow Tech headers dumping into 2.25" true duals with Dynomax Super Turbo's. Tranmission is a freshly built TH350 with Hurst hot shift kit. It has most options with the exception of air, power seats ( I have the rails and controls for drivers side) , and T-Roof . Other modifications include F-41 sway bars with Energy Suspension poly endlinks and bushings and Grant GT steering wheel. Below are a few pics of the car when I was replacing the rear frame section. Isn't it great to live in eastern Canada...The land of rust :( .

This is my Grand Prix with the rear frame section removed. Here is the replacement section ready to be installed.

1978 Monte Carlo

This 1978 Monte Carlo is my previous G-body, which replaced another black 78 Monte Carlo I had. Both has since been crushed RIP. I had this car for 7 years after purchasing it from the original owner. It was powered by 305 (LG4) with TH350 and 229 single trac rear. During the time I owned this Monte I painted it once (replacing original lacquer finish) with original caramel metallic base clear. The interior was replaced with real leather seats and console from a Grand Prix SJ. Exhaust was updated with a dual outlet muffler and two tailpipes. Tires were Goodyear Arriva's with wide whitewalls.
