Welcome to my little piece of the internet.. This page is going to document the restoration of my 1965 Ford f100 Custom Cab truck.. I have had the old Ford ford about 16 years.  My grandpa bought the truck brand new back in 1965 and he used it to haul his race horses to the track for many years.. When I first got the ole truck homw it was a sight to behold.  The white paint on the roof had stated comming off and my grandpa painted the top gold to keep it from rusting.   It had old wagon wheels on the back paint red with real tall knobby bias tires and on the front were stock wheels with what looked to be old lincoln hubcabs.. It had enought horse crap and dirt in the bed that there was a little green lawn growing in the bed.       Of course when I was 16 me and my dad went to get it and dad drove it home, but half way home I see the old Ford skid off the road and my dad is jumping around like a mad man.  Come to find out the truck was full of army ants and since he was in there they were all over him as well.  we soaked them with carb cleaner and we were on our way once again..        Once we got it home We started cleaning it up and doing some body work. Dad got me some 15X8" chrome smoothie wheels for it and  I was in love..  I remember the first time I got to drive it,  When I tried to shift into 2nd gear it hung in first.. hahhaha  I drove all the way home 30mph in first gear..     My shifter linkage in the column was wore out and you had to know the exact way to hold the shifter to get it to go in 2nd gear..  I eventally switched it to a hurst floor shifter.      Anyway just check out my progress...
