The Jensen brothers and Donald Healey have passed but the last
great British roadster remains
over 7,000 cars built for the USA, more than half for California
only 10,000 car world wide
It is the first production car to use a Lotus engine (a detuned
1969 formula 11 racing motor)
It is the last car bears Sir Donald Healey name
(he was knighted in 1972 for his "services to export" more Healeys
were sold abroad than at home)
Jensen Healeys were the last hand built British cars imported to
the USA
It is the last "car" body designed and built by Jensen Motors or
Sir Donald Healey
More Jensen Healeys were built than any other Jensen
Jensen also built the Austin Healey, Jensen FF, Jensen CV8,
Sunbeam Tiger, Jensen 541, Jensen Interceptor
all have toy or collectable models made most are still in production
or being re-issued
Exotic cars and customs sell better than, new regular production
models or colletalbes
SCCA D production Champion 1973 and 1974 the only years it raced
Faster and better looking than the following production cars
1972 to 1975 cars of which many model are made
