John Cooper, CBE. 1923-2000 RIP

Mini fans the world over were saddened at the news of the death of John Cooper on 24th December 2000. The motoring world is a much sadder place for the loss of such a brilliantly talented and down to earth man. Any person who had the chance to meet him will know how very approachable and extraordinary he was. I for one, met him on two occassions and will never forget the feeling I had shaking his hand....SO PROUD!!!!
