Welcome to my Monza's Homepage!
Here's a little background about the man behind the machine......
I started my fascination with h-bodies after acquiring my first at the age of 18.  The one that started it all was a 1978 2+2 fastback.  It was a light blue, 305 2 barrel.  It came equipped with a 4 spd, posi (that someone had changed to a 3.23 ratio) and all the spyder options on a 2+2 for $300.  The body was rough, but hey, it WAS a v8 monza right!  That one eventually had to be "put down" (read "scrapped"), but i kept all the v8 parts including many unneeded parts.  After that, I acquired a '78 sunbird formula with a factory v8 and stick all for $150. Both of the afformentioned were driven away.

An insider's view of the dash, taken during the "switch" (after a failed, short-lived experience with an automatic trans).
One of three engines that fit snuggly into the car.
My son, Ryan, the jr mechanic, gives it a thumbs up!!

Here are some great sites for info, questions or just hanging out.........

GM H-body Owners Association Club
--- an awesome club for H-body owners to gather and swap info and tips

Bob Gumm's "How to build a v8 vega/monza" website
--- another great site for tips and info
As a side note, the monza in the above pictures has since been stripped, scrapped, and shredded. it has been replaced by a cleaner and soon to be nicer h-body.
