Pulled motor and trans... again!
I've just finished up pulling the motor and trans out of my
car again. I'm going to port my heads and do a cam swap (undecided).
The trans I pulled was actually from a friends car, so it's
going back into his car, and mine should be back from the
shop very soon.

New best ET, MPH, & 60'!!!.
This was the last race day of the year at Cecil
County, and the Buick was running gooood! (Sorry I don't
have pictures).
60': 1.573
ET: 11.80
MPH: 112.8 In spite of the good times, something still isn't right. The above run was made with a 15# launch (e-brake) and 26#'s thru the traps with the converter locked. I'm now pulling the drivers side front tire about 4" in the air!!! With those settings, I was hoping for something closer to 11.60 @ 116. Regardless, it was a good day... and a great way to end the year.

Went and saw Champion Racing Heads.
I was down in the Daytona, FL area over Thanksgiving visiting family and got a chance to go check out Champion Racing Heads in Palm Coast, FL. I spoke with Tom (one of the co-owners) for quite a while about the heads that they offer for our Buicks, and was very impressed with their product and their operation. A ton of work goes into what they do!
Daytona Turkey Run was awesome!
While I was in FL, I also got a chance to go to the 28th Annual Turkey Run at the Daytona Speedway. Wow... that was the largest car show I've ever been to!! There were close to 6,000 cars on display, and the show filled the entire infield of the Speedway.

I've updated the specs & mods list on my WH1 T-Type. It's been a while (close to two years) since any of that info had been touched. Stay tuned for updates on the rest of the info.

Site redesign finally up & running!
The redesign of this site has finally started! Sorry for the long wait, but I think you'll agree that it's worth it. The site will have photos and info on several vehicles, events, and track information. Since this site and it's content is an ongoing project, check back frequently for new content.
Parts ordered: Valve springs & spring tools
Ordered two sets of Comp Cams 980 valve springs today for a Saturday/Sunday thrash session this weekend. I also ordered a spring compressor and air fittings from www.mytoolstore.com. A GREAT site with TONS of tools.

The GM Hightech Performance Shootout rocked!
Went up and saw the 5th annual GM Hightech Performance EFI Shootout at Englishtown this past weekend. A great event with some really cool cars. Take a look at the pictures in the events section.

The main reason I went to Englishtown was to take a look at a Ford Powerstroke intercooler that had been installed in a '87 GN. I took a bunch of pictures and posted them to the Tech Info section.
