I started this page to show others how I did my 98 Cupholder Install in my 96.
Too bad I did not anticipate this page as I was doing the install.
Then I would have before & after shots, not just after shots... Oh well, maybe the next project..
I would not recommend this Mod to anyone who is not willing to go at their car with a hacksaw or someone who is likely to destroy their console with said same hacksaw.

Trips to the Track:

June 9th 2001, 1st trip to the track, at Cayuga.
Best time: 15.614 @ 87.95, with a 2.273 60foot.
Prognosis: Put the car & me on a diet. More HP for the car. Learn to drive.
More traction!

June 30th 2001, 2nd trip to the track, at Cayuga.
Best time: 15.765 @ 89.65, with a 2.315 60foot. Then got slower each pass after icing the intake & developed a misfire
Prognosis: Don't drip water all over the engine when icing the intake, actually follow the recomendations from Prognosis #1
Clean the engine ( & the rest of the car while I'm at it...)
