Hello, I'm Doug Fitzgerald and I am the owner/operator of Fitzgerald's Auto Service and Towing. I am located in east part of Texas. I would like to welcome you to my little area on the web. I hope to share with you some of my towing and recovery pictures. Please enjoy looking at my pictures as I get them posted. I have helped the local volunteer fire department get their fire trucks in servicable condition. Here another wrecker and I are loading the tank onto the fire truck.

Our County run ambulance service was sold out to a private run ambulance service back in 1993. My wife worked for the county ambulance service and that is how we met, while working accidents. But now with the private ambulance service, I do all their towing.

I have even towed in other wreckers from the other wrecker services in tow. After towing this one in, I have gotten alot of their wrecker calls. They only do calls in town now and any others, they call me.

I get calls from the school districts to pick up their buses when they break down.

Here are some of the tractors that I have had to get out of unusual situations and places.

We do towing for the local power company and telephone company.

We towed this RV in after the engine had caught fire and disabled the vehicle.

In the community that I service, I can get some unusual calls.

This is one incinerator of about 20 that I moved and helped set up for local chicken houses. The bottom piece weighs 6,000 pounds, the top piece weighs 2,000 pounds, and the smokestack weighs 400 pounds.

We lifted this 500 gallon fuel tank over a 6 foot high fence and loaded onto a trailer to be moved.

There are some calls that I get that I cannot use just my truck for. Therefore I purchased a Texas Rollback Trailer. Here are a few of the calls I have done with it.

This was a stolen jet ski recovered by our local Texas Parks & Wildlife (Game Wardens)

It handles sports cars with no problem and with no damage to the car.

This was a feed mixer that I hauled from Stephenville, Texas to San Augustine, Texas (313 miles). Kinda BIG, HEAVY load. But no problems. We even went to Six Flags with it.
