Welcome to my Chevrolet Beretta website. This site will be under construction always with new stuff coming all the time. Please check back often to see the kewl new updates.
About my Beretta experience... One day my Junior year of High School my parents came home from car shopping and asked if I liked Berettas. I said yes. They explained that they had found a 90 black GT for me and a 90 garnet red base for my sister. This worked out perfect.
The cars required some maintanence at first, but we quickly got them up to par. After owning my GT almost a year, the motor developed critical problems and hasn't run since May of 2000. Since then, the base model is still running, with my GTZ wheels on it, I might add. Plans for getting my GT back on the road haven't been started yet. I'm just going to get a 3.1 V6 from a junkyard somewhere and stuff it in the bay. As for Berettas in general, I've managed to help a few of them find good homes over the past 2 years. First, an ex-girlfriend of mine purchased a 1991 white base model. It was a great little car. She eventually sold it because the payments were not figuring into her budget. The next Beretta I helped rescue was a 1993 GT with the 2.2 liter 4 cylinder and a 5 speed. It was for a friend's ex-girlfriend. She was looking for cars all over the state of Idaho and we happened to come across the GT. It was a nice car that was perfect for her. The last Beretta that found a good home was my current 1993 GTZ. This car is beautiful. It has the 2.3 Liter Quad4 High Output motor in it mated to a 5 speed transaxle. Having recieved a new head gasket in January 2001, it is running pretty well. Future plans hopefully will include a more powerful Quad4 such as the W41 model offered in select Oldsmobiles.
As far as information on these cars go, if you can't find it here, goto Yahoo! Groups and get added to the Beretta.Net. Its THE most complete information source for these cars.
Have fun at the site and come back often!
