         1951-2001
Rookie Season:  Dale Earnhardt finished 3rd in the 1979 Firecracker 400 at Daytona InternationalSpeedway. 1 victory and 17 top10 finishes would carry Earnhardt to WinstonCup Rookie of the Year Honors.
1st Championship:  Earnhardt  holds up a dummy front page signifying his 1980 WinstonCup Title a season in which he edged Cale Yarborough by 19 points.
Earnhardt first teamed up with owner Richard Childress in 1984 won his 2nd WinstonCup Title in 1986..after 5 wins and 23 top 10 finishes,
Record-Setting Season 1987 turned out to be a career year for Earnhardt, as he posted a personal-best 11 victories on his way to defending the WinstonCup Title.
Earnhardt captured the Busch race a day before the 1993 Daytona 500 .That year he would roar a 6th WinstonCup Title behind 6 victories.
Earnhardt tied with Richard Petty with a 7th WinstonCup Title in 1994 with 4 victories and 25 top-10 finishes that year.
Earnhardt captured the Brickyard 400 in the events second season as he would go on to finish as the Runner-Up in the 1995 WinstonCup points race.
Finally A weight is lifted off the shoulders of Dale Earnhardt in 1998, as he won the Daytona 500 for the 1st time...
Super at Superspeedways: Earnhardt jumps on his car after winning the Wintson 500 at Talladega Superspeedway in 1999.
