In my professional capacity, I get to test drive new vehicles before it is launched in the local market, and what a privilege that is! |

Hi! Welcome to my homepage! My name is Alan, and I am pretty much a petrol head, It's been a while since I did anything with this homepage. If you were visiting from before, you may recall that the web page was basically dedicated to the Proton Putra 1.8 EXi (aka Proton M21 Coupe in export markets) which was my ride then. I am revamping the entire site to include other hot makes as well as a section on Motorsport, namely Formula 1 of which I am a big fan. I will also include pictures and writeups on my travels and what not, so sit back, relax and enjoy. Welcome...... |

2007 Season Review Driver's World Champion: Kimi Raikkonen - Finnish 110 points Constructors' World Champion: Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro - Italy 204 points Without a doubt, the 2007 Formula 1 Season kept fans biting their nails till the last race of the season in Brazil. With the spy scandals, a rising rookie star in Lewis Hamilton, the very public souring relationship between Fernando Alonso and McLaren - the championship was one of the best in recent times. Honda Racing started the season with a very unique car livery that was beautiful and different from every other team. The team had to endure a difficult season, with aerodynamic challenges that saw both drivers struggle at the backend of the grid. The Honda Racing Team finished the season in 8th position in the Constructors' Championship with 6 points. With the restructuring of the team and its personnel, and with Ross Brawn on board as Team Principal from the 2008 season, we hope Honda Racing will return to its winning ways. We bid Christian Klien the best of luck as he leaves in search of a race seat for the 2008 season. The suprise package of this year has to be the Super Aguri F1 Team. The small but dedicated team showed their mettle with Takuma Sato scoring points in the Spanish GP and Canadian GP respectively. The "Honda B-Team" finished the season in 9th position with 4 points. Anthony Davidson was unlucky throughout the season with reliability issues. We hope for an improved season next year. Watch this space for more news! |
