Minis dicing with TR7 V8s, Lotus, TVR and Marcos battling with MG Midgets & MGBs, TR7 V8s, and a saloons class with TRiumph Dolomite Sprint, 2.5 PI, various Jaguars and Alfa Romeos, Morris marina, FIat 131 and Ford Capri, Cortina and Anglia. Great variety in NZ's most popular Classic Race Series...
We have expanded the series from our British origins to include European saloons, sports and GTs and to show that we are not biased, we also have allowed a limited number of Datsun Zs. We don't really care who wins either. With grids full of variety, the Leisure Time Spa & Pool Covers/BRC Classic series grows each year.
With XJS and XJ6 Jaguars trying to keep up with venerable MK 2 Jaguars, Mercedes 280E, and the various Fords a Sunbeam Rapier, fast and slow, old and not so old, it all adds to the special appeal of Classic Racing - especially when every race is a handicap and the series has a reputation for exciting finishes, with the over fast guys penalised with a stop/go penalty .
The site is beginning to move on and so far, visits have been made - about 20% of which are probably me...

Best place to start is the page which lists the series drivers and cars . Virtually no graphics so a quick page load should be possible... An entry form is also part of the site and eventually, there will be a history page and when I can manage it, the current points. Hit the buttons below if you are interested in the various makes featured. These will take you to one page of competitors, past and present and their cars. They in turn will have (eventually) links to the individual driver pages but growth has been so rapid that I am way behind...
