Welcome to our home on the Web. The YOMCC of Australia was formed by 52 motorcycle enthusiasts at the Family Hotel in Glenelg in June 1981. Since then it has had a rich and varied history, becoming at one time one of the largest Motorcycle Club's in Australia. In 1997 the club's name was changed to The Yamaha Owners MCC of Sth Australia Inc and now we are entirely based within South Australia although we do have some remote members interstate. The club is non-competitive comprising men and women of all ages and backgrounds who have an interest in motorcycles of various brands and types. |

Based in Adelaide, Capital city of South Australia, we also have members in the country and interstate. The club is self funding with low membership fees so that people on low or restricted incomes can afford to join. Club members pay extra for club paraphernalia and events if required however this is not mandatory. Membership also includes the club magazine "The Yamaha Link" posted to members home's every 2 to 3 months. All club committee positions are voluntary and no payment is made to members holding these positions. |
Club activities include monthly informal meetings, rides, maintenance days/BBQ's, Indoor Rock Climbing, indoor Go-Karting, regular dinners, Ten Pin Bowling and other social event's in a non threatening and non-discriminatory environment. Our goal is to promote motorcycling and genuine friendship amongst Bikers. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at the Fountain Inn Hotel, Glen Osmond Road at 7.30 PM. |
