Hi, I'm the Long Island Cowboy
I've been driving a big rig for 18 years and am a newcomer to this computer stuff. I'll be picking my way through this web-site building with the help of my wife.


Aside from trucking, I'm into fishing and hunting, although I don't get much time to wet a hook or shoulder a shot-gun anymore.

I'll be sharing truck stories and hopefully will get to do some fishing this summer to share too.

I got out of OTR in the summer of 98, thought I'd give it a rest for a while, although this local running is keeping me just as much if not more busy. I'm running the New York, New Jersey, area right now, hauling salt, RCA, rock and just about anything else they can load in the trailer. The company is expanding to do Connecticut too, so the days are pretty long.

The latest news is that 2 months ago the boss handed me the keys to a brand spanking new Western Star. Wow, can that baby move. I'm the pride of the Long Island Expressway in her. I hope to have a picture up here soon if my wife could ever get down to the yard in daylight to get a shot of her in all her glory.
