  Hi, my name is Barbara. My birthday is on 8th August.

  I turned 13 this year.

  I have a little sister called Lucy. She was born on 27th April and she was 9 years old this year.

  Lucy goes to Holy Family Primary School and I go to Aquinas College in Menai, New South Wales, Australia.

  Recent adventures:

  On the last day of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games we went to watch the men's maraton at the 21.5km half-way mark. We watched several runners drop out because of injurys and soreness of muscles.

  Ethiopia came first and third and Kenya came second. Australia came tenth.

  Future Adventures:

• When we get our Toyota 4WD fixed (or replaced) after a big smash we will head out to the bush again.

One of our bush friends thought that he made the Australian Olympic Cycling Team so he set out on a trip to Sydney to take part in the big race.

On one of our desert trips a fellow traveller didn't make it through the day.
