SealSoft Works is pleased to announce that we are well on the
way toward completing the all new TLMetry Suite.
TLMetry Suite combines the TLMetry, Qord, and RPZip along with
a few all-new utilities into one cohesive program designed to
help your performance on the track in Sierra's NASCAR Racing 3.
Over the years, TLMetry has become a rather unwieldy piece of software as each layer has been packed onto the one below it. In contrast, TLMetry Suite is being completely rewritten from the ground up, with not a single line of code being reused from earlier projects. What does this mean to you? Unfortunately, this means that it is taking longer than expected to develop the new software. Development is further hindered by the fact that the "hobby" work that is SealSoft Works must take a back seat to paid programming these days. On the plus side, we are as excited as anyone to release the new software as we expect it to be as much an improvement over TLMetry2 as NASCAR Racing 3 was an improvement over NASCAR Racing 2. SealSoft Works has always been dedicated to writing software for the sim-racing community. As it typical within this community, we feel that utilities designed to enhance the functionality and usefulness of Papyrus's NASCAR2 should be freely shared. For this reason, we have no intention of ever charging for our racing utilities.
