The View from the top of Kingston Peak
This is the Loch Lomond overlook on top of Kingston Peak, west of Central City, Colorado.
I'm a Denver native and started 4 wheeling with my dad about 1969 when he bought a an old Willys wagon.  I was about 6 years old at the time.  My first 4x4 was an `83 Toyota SR5 short bed.  I bought this while in the NAVY.  I took it from Denver to Connecticut where I found the sand dune at exit 6a in Rhode Island.  From there, I, was stationed in Sunny San Diego, where beach running and the Salton Sea was my weekends.  I then took the Toyota to Western Washington.  There I got high in the Olypmic Peninsula.  Lake Tayoha ORV Park in the mid `80's.  After the Navy I moved back to Denver.  After having the Toy stolen I picked up a `73 Blazer, which my mom rightly named, "Big Ugly."  With "The Big" I ventured a little but, it was never the same.  After a few years of withdrawl symptoms, I got the, "Little Ug."  A 1962 Willys CJ5 with a blown Chevy 305 between the frame rails.  I Rebuilt a 350 into a 383cu in.  This only made the the little T90 go out.  I Had Mile High Jeep Rebuilders rebuild a T18 for me and lotsa of help trying to get it back together again.  This is my winter project  This year.
