High Performance Throttle Bodies

Race Design Throttle Bodies are a 5-9 horsepower gain and smog legal.

Race Design throttle bodies are absolutely the most effecient throttle bodies available on the market. Any good motor builder can tell you that effeciency is the key to making a fast car. Race Design throttle bodies require no match porting to the intake manifold. This is because we don't increase the size of the throttle plate. Although many places do this, we don't feel that it does anything at all. We feel that in order to make an effecient throttle body, you must change the way the throttle body  flows and not the size. If that was the case then it would be optimal to run a throttle body the size of a headlight. But unfortunately thats not the way to do it.     Race Design has came up with a special port design to the throttle body that maximizes flow to the intake manifold effeciently. This means that you will suffer no lower-end powerband loss and gain alot on the revs. They are also smog legal and will pass all diagnostic inspections. They are also atleast a horsepower more gain than most other throttle bodies on the market.
