Jim & Judi's 57 Chevy
- Welcome to our page & thank you for visiting. This is
our 1957 Chevy Belair. We haven't always looked this good. When we
first found our Chevy in October 1994 in a barn it hadn't been on the road
for at least 10 years and was suffering from neglect. After some
loving care (and a few dollars) we now have the car you see. Finally
we are beginning to put up pictures & info from the restoration.
- Now that the Chevy is done, we have purchased a 58
Corvette which we currently restoring to its original condition. We
do enjoy the cars of the 50's.
Our summers usually are busy, we have been part of several displays commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the 1957 Chevy. The first was at Performance World in Toronto which was actually in March. That July we were also part of a Chevrolet sponsored display at the Molson Indy, and in August the Toronto Star had a featured a display at the Fresh Air Cruise.
At the end of August a couple of summers ago our oldest son was married, and of course Chevys were in the wedding party.
