Hi and welcome to my page it's dedicated to my pride and joy 1971 Nova. The car was originally restored in 1993 by myself and my late father-in-law, Paul Pentecost. At the time we got the car it had only 56k miles on it! Paul's uncle had bought the car brand new and when he got too old to drive it he gave it to us! It was in rough shape, it had lots of bondo from some earlier fender benders and was running on 3 cylinders. It was a straight 6(250) with a powerglide trans. YAWN! Anyway we took it apart and restored it top to bottom to original condition. We did however change the exterior/interior colors.
We showed it like this for about 4 years, then last year I located and installed a 1971 402c.i. big block and Turbo350 trans. Both the engine and trans have been rebuilt with high performance goodies. The 2.5" dual exhaust features Flowmaster mufflers. The rear is mostly stock and it gets 14mpg on the highway. Recently i installed an Auburn mini spool in the 3.08 rear. I also installed a B&M ratcheting Megashifter which is ALOT of fun! The car has won many 1st's including Super Chevy, Richmond in 1998 and in 2001. I've put 10K+ miles on it since it was restored. The only time the car has ever been on a trailer was coming home in pieces from the paintshop.Oh, don't forget to visit the Nova gallery at the bottom of this page!
