I Need some Help on this page !

I have moved from the area and no longer receive information about the track. I would like to either find someone to send me information (pictures, schedules, results etc.), or someone to take over as webmaster. I get many E-Mail inquiries for information that I cannot answer. If you can help, please let me know. E-Mail link is at the bottom of the page.

Welcome !

Smoky Mountain Raceway is a moderately banked 4/10 mile oval dirt track located in the foothills of the great Smoky Mountains in Maryville, Tn. It is located just 10 miles outside of downtown on Brickmill Rd. just off Highway 411 between Maryville and Vonore.

Come on out for a visit and enjoy an evening of southern dirt track racing at it's finest !!

Smoky Mountain has an interesting history including time on the NASCAR circuit. Some of the great names in racing have circled the mountain including notables such as Richard Petty, Bobby Allison, and David Pearson. Racing in six divisions is featured in a weekly, Saturday nite program. On a typical race night over 100 cars and teams will find thier way into the pits at the mountain waiting thier turn to race. With a featured division of limited dirt late models typically attracting a field of 26 plus cars, the action is furious. It has been said that you can get a lot of racing for your money at the mountain as an occasional race has been run past midnight.
