My Pictures
Hi! Welcome to my web page. I'm afraid I don't have any links on this page, but lots of pictures from trips and scenery to enjoy. It's changing from time to time, with more being added as we explore.
I'm sad to see the passing of two friends in the past few months. First Bill from MO who died shortly afterr our vegas trip. We enjoyed having the opportunity to get to know him in person and miss him.

Bill from MO on our great trip to Vegas and Zion Park

Pat and Jayne at Zion Park, if it hadn't been for their hard work and determination, we wouldn't have had the incredible opportunity to all meet as we did. Pat passed away while Guy was in hospital this July. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his lovley wife Jayne, and their 4 children, on his 46th birthday. You both left us far too soon, but you will always be in our hearts.

This is Ricky (Gin) who passed away a couple of years after Carol, Norma, Elsa and I got to spend some time with him in NJ on our get together trip. Carol and her husband Ed were wonderful friends to him, and did everything they could to help his mother care for him in his declining days. I wish so much I would have been able to see him again before he left us, he had a wonderful sense of humour and great outlook on life.

Darice and Charlie are newly weds here. Charlie took his new bride Darice back to Scotland with him soon after this trip. I just received word, that Darice has just passed away from a heart attack. I know Charlie must be heart broken, and there are many of us that send our love and thoughts to him and their families. We will all miss you Darice.

I am absolutely heart broken to add this picture to this page. My 'sis' Norma has left us last week, and we are all in shock. My love to her family, know you are in our hearts.
About the day we lost Norma, I was in BC oblivious to her sudden complications. I picked up a picture frame she gave me in NJ that said 'sisters' with a pic of the two of us in it, an thought, I really need to hang this in a special place. A couple of weeks after I returned home and was told she was gone, I was sitting in my car, thinking of her, feeling sad, and this song came on the radio. I thought, this song is for Norma! I told our friend Elsa about it, did some net research and found the name. Another shock, it was calle "sissy's song" I swear when I heard it I saw her smiling face so clearly that I could reach out and touch her. Norma, I put the words to this song on your tribute because I felt there were too many signs to ignor. I miss you, your family misses you, we're all trying out best to deal with loosing you.
Sissy's Song by Alan Jackman
Sissy's song (my song for Norma) lyrics by Alan Jackson
Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why
Without reason without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman
Daughter, wife and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe
She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me
Loved ones she left behind
Just trying to survive
And understand the why
Feeling so lost inside
Anger shot straight at God
Then asking for His love
Empty with disbelief
Just hoping that maybe
She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me
It's hard to say goodbye
Her picture in my mind
Will always be of times I'll cherish
And I won't cry 'cause
She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me
Don't worry 'bout me
Don`t worry 'bout me
