TITANIC POEMS!

Here are some poems that we wrote about Titanic:

Leonardo DiCaprio was in a movie
I think it was totally groovy
He saved Rose's life
Though she was to be Cal's wife
And he taught her to spit a loogie

--by Heidi--

There once was a guy named Jack Dawson
He was really awesome
He fell in love with Rose,
And then he froze,
But he doesn't look like Cindy Crawford

--by Hannah and Heidi--

There once was a ship called "TITANIC"
It hit an iceberg and everyone panicked
As Jack looked out the porthole,
He knew the wound was mortal,
And it sank in the icy North Atlantic

--by Hannah--

In 1912 on April 10th,
There was a Swedish guy named Sven.
Jack won his ticket,
Sven was as mad as a chicklet
And that's how Jack's trip began

--by Heidi--

Titanic was called the ship of dreams
And it was, or so it seems
But the ship that was unsinkable
Sank, how unthinkable!
And that was the ship of dreams

--by Heidi--

And now some that you guys wrote!

There once was a young lad named Jack.
All that he owned was the shirt on his back.
He showed Rose devotion.
He froze into the ocean.
And that's all I have to say about that.

--by Jaime--

There once was a girl named Rose.
She thought it best if she chose
A boy named Jack, for drawing he had a knack.
And she even took off her clothes.
--by Jaime--

Cal gave Rose the heart of the ocean.
Just to show his fake devotion.
Love for him she had a lack,
For she was still in love with Jack.
Even though he was just a bit frozen.
--by Jaime--

Molly Brown was a friend of Rose.
She polished Jack up, from his head to his toes.
She was saved by a boat, but thought it best to go
And save all the people who froze.
--by Jaime--

Fabrizio was Jacks best friend.
He was his friend till no end.
Until you heard a yell when the smokestack fell,
for him, it was the end.

--by Jaime--

Mr. Andrews was a very nice man.
He designed Titanic as best he can.
He went into shock and stared at the clock.
From then, he would never again see land.

--by Jaime--

Cal, Oh what a mean man.
He slapped Rose with the back of his hand
He survived, it would figure,
That is, untill he pulled the trigger.
Then he was just a dead man.

--by Jaime--

Mr. Lovejoy was sent to watch Rose.
He almost caught them when she was doing her pose.
He would always linger, so Rose gave him the finger.
Until he fell when the mighty ship arose.

--by Jaime--

On April 14, 1912
The mighty ship
Titanic
Struck an iceberg

There weren't enough
Lifeboats
Thousands lost their lives
Frozen
In the icy waters

--by Lindsay--

When Titanic sank
Many lost their loved ones
Some didn't even say goodbye
"Only women and children"
Hardly any men
Those still on the ship were
Frozen
--by Lindsay--

(Sung to the "Barney" theme)
Jack loves Rose
Rose loves Jack
They set sail on the Titanic
With too few lifeboats
And an iceberg right ahead
So they all froze
And Jack is dead

--by Lindsay--

The ship was doomed to Destiny-
The waters were so calm
Out on the darkened sea-
There seemed to be no harm.
Doomed to Destiny, as it would be,
When looming ahead lay the berg,
Dark and haunting in the sea-
And the ship: no one to save her.
But then the dreaded moment came: the two collided-
Collided with Destiny.
Not enough boats provided,
And many dead would later be.
So many lives lost-lost in the sea,
At what a great cost. What a harsh penalty.
--by Hannah--
