Tori Amos Photo Studio

OK, so maybe I am obsessed with this woman. Hell, I refer to her as "my goddess." For anyone who doesn't know me, this woman is the person I idoloze in music. Her beauty and talent (as well as quite a few similarities to me) have given her such a special place in my heart.

This page is dedicated to the amazing Tori Amos. She is a very talented pianist, and she has got to be a prodigy. Though the word is often used in the wrong context, she is truly deserving of this title. She began playing at 2, and by 4 she was composing. At the age of 5, she was accepted to Peabody (for any of you who aren't familiar, it is a really prestigious piano school). Unfortunately she was kicked out at 11 for liking Jimi Hendrix and Robert Plant more than Beethoven or Bach (and who can blame her). She composed more rock-felt tunes, and they just would not allow that. Jerks! Well, they are all probably kicking themselves in the ass!

Her first album Y Kant Tori Read (1988) was a flop. It failed to sell 7,000 copies, but now tori fans will pay extravagant amounts of money for the CD. I am about to pay $150 myself, even though I have the bootleg.

Since Little Earthquakes (1991), she has received great critical acclaim, and has produced a cult following of sorts. Her voice and piano skills have made her albums go platinum. She is liked because of her music, not because of her looks or her "hot new single." She is a true talent, and I hope that you buy an album or single and listen to it. Anyway here are the pics I promised. Enjoy them all!

This one is for you Mike!
