- *1/2 Another one of those "nobody's ever heard of" horror movies. You always hope when you see the corny boxes in the store that it will somehow entertain you (those of you who are so unfortunate as to not have this in your video store, I really can't explain it. Let's just say it has to do with shoving bananas up asses.) I was actually surprised by Pledge Night. I actually enjoyed the first half. It showed a bunch of pledges entering a frat, and all the stupid shit they go through. Cheap, laughable material. Then, it deteriorates. The killer shows up (Acid Sid), and it's really not worth explaining what he is. Cause, you know what, they don't explain it in the movie. They try, but they fail. So, I don't know. That's what pissed me off about this one, and the fact that he looks like Freddy Krueger's brother. You know the rest of the story, right? I shouldn't have to explain. A star and a half only, because you can laugh at certain points in it, and at certain points AT it- but isn't that the reason you rent these kind of horror movies in the first place?
