What can you say about "Auntie Mame" that hasn't already been said? I just wish I had been alive when it was done as a play. I would give anything (well.. almost) to be able to see Rosalind Russell live running up and down that Beekman Place staircase night after night. I KNOW that must have been a thrill... for the audience.
