Aden Gillett
A little known but fantastic British Actor who I first saw on Television in The House of Eliott, he trained at RADA, where he won several prestigious awards including the Tree Prize, the Sir Emile Littler Prize, the Vanbrugh Prize and the Radio Prize. Born in Yemen in 1958, Aden got his unusual first name from the fact of being born out in the east, where his father worked in the old colonial civil service. Aden is married to the Actress Sara Stewart, who has starred with Gwyneth Paltrow in the West End, and has recently been seen in Sugar Rush. This is Aden's career to date.
Aden is now busy in the West End, playing Mr Banks in Mary Poppins - his
first musical role! In May 2006 he is also starring as Edgar Degas in the BBC1 drama The Impressionists.
