Walther P-99--will become the new official new gun of 007?
The P-99 was not introduced by Q, however Bond does say that he has mentioned
that he had asked Q for the handgun before. 007 picks up the gun halfway
through the movie Tomorrow
Never Dies, while arming himself for the final assault on the Carver
stealth ship in Wai Lin's secret armory.
It is still a mysery that if Bond indeed did make the change, giving up his now 36 year old PPK for an updated model. Pictures Pictures releaced by the Bond 19 crew show bond holding a Walther P-99. Did he make the change? The question will be answered when Bond 19 is releaced. |
