Maybe it's the grace. Maybe it's the style...maybe it's just that you just can't find that look that Bogey gives Bergman anymore. Maybe your heart doesn't flip-flop like it did when Rhett sweeps Scarlett up in his arms and kisses her while the music swells and Atlanta burns. Well, I tell ya...that does it for me. :) That's why I love old movies so much. There's just somethin' about them that for all of the special effects and billions of dollars, today's movies can't compare with. Back then, the actors and actresses had class - they moved a certain way, spoke a certain way, even brawled a certain way. It was the era of gentlemen, scoundrels, belles and hellions, of passion, intrigue, and corny humor. But, that's why I love it.
