A Scottish Thought:

Here are pictures from Felicia's tour of Scotland--August, 1998. I highly recommend visiting Edinburgh...the most beautiful city I've ever seen (over Paris, Rome, Venice, London,
Florence ... well, maybe not Florence!).
We visited Edinburgh during the Tattoo and Festival, and some of the photos from that are included below. We also stayed in Braemar on the River Dee, Dornoch on the Moray Firth, Portree on the Isle of Skye and Glasgow--plus stops in between. My mother and grandmother then went on to visit the area around Keith, Huntly, Dufftown and Buckie(Banffshire and Aberdeenshire), where they were able to visit with many distant cousins--relatives of my great-grandfather.
