Please remember I´m NOT Deborah Unger! Welcome to the D.K.U page. Listen to the audio interviews with Deborah, look at the pictures. Once again....I am NOT Deborah Unger.... just a fan of her work...

Deborah was born in Vancouver, Canada, 1966 and studied philosophy and economics at the University of Victoria before becoming the first Canadian to be accepted into the highly-regarded Australian National Institute of Art. Graduating in '88, she went on to star in the TV drama Bangkok Hilton, starring alongside Nicole Kidman and Denholm Elliot as one of the buddhist co- prisoners, and made the leap to the big screen in various motion pictures.

Latest news!

Deborah-movies out right now:
The Hurricane (with Denzel Washington), German movie "Sunshine", Yuri (Also with German co-actors) and the Weekend.

the Weekend.

Released in 1999
Deborah starrs along D.B Sweeney and Brooke Shields in this little drama. As always Deborahs performance is flawless even though the movie could have been a little more exciting. When will we see Deborah as the next Bond chic?

What happened to Deep blue sea?

This movies working title was "Deep blue sea" and had action man Renny Harlin as designated director. It is also starred the overexposed Samuel L. Jackson (Is he short of cash or something, he is in every damn action movie these days.) Deborahs characters name in the movie is Janice Higgins. Anyway I don't know what happened to it.

The remake of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." It said that Ms. Unger just got cast in a yet unknown role, alongside Ralph Fiennes (who is going to be Captian Nemo). If this comes out in this year, that would make FOUR movies she's releasing in just one year!!!

NEW YORK (Variety) - Deborah Kara Unger, currently appearing on the big screen in "The Game" opposite Michael Douglas, will star alongside Mel Gibson in "Payback." She only has a very small part and the movie really sucks!(authors comment)

She will play the wife of Gibson's character, who runs off with his double-crossing accomplice (Gregg Henry) in a robbery and steals his share of the loot as well. Gibson's character tries to track them down, and not to woo her back.

Maria Bello, David Paymer and Bill Duke also star. The action-thriller was formerly called "Parker."

Unger also starred in "Crash."
