There has been much speculation as to what is to become of Paolo's series "Mortal Kombat Conquest". For the first season the WB (Warner Brothers Station) ran MKC, a series based on the famous Video games "Mortal Kombat" created by Tobias and Boon, where Paolo played Kung Lao, the origional savior of earth realm, ancestor to our modern day hero, Liu Kang. It is said that the WB decided not to pick up the series for a second season. Though it is not officially stated as to why, there have been many rumors. At this time there is no second season of MKC, though everyone is hopeful another cable station will pick the show up as there is a large following of fans. (Myself Included.) Recently on the official Mortal Kombat Site fans of MKC had the pleasure of chatting live with Co-producer, and Special Effects manager, of the series and both films, Alison Savitch. Here is an edited transcript of what she had to say about MKC. To see the full transcript please visit the offical MK site.

mortalkombat: QuanChi says: Do you have any idea about what will
happen for the next season of MKC? Because there are rumors
going on about this.

Alison Savitch: Big changes and very different worlds, that's
all I can tell you, but you'll love it.

#mortalkombat: QuanChi says: Will Shinnok ever appear in Mortal
Kombat Conquest?

Alison Savitch: It depends on how the stories evolve, they
aren't all planned out, but we always like to hear what you guys
are interested in seeing.

#mortalkombat: QuanChi says: Could you tell us when the second
season will start?

Alison Savitch: It's still up in the air, but as soon as we know
what is going on, you can see it on www.mortalkombat.com.

#mortalkombat: MKSTING says: Are there any plans for a 3rd
movie?

Alison Savitch: Plans?...No. Talk?...Possible.

#mortalkombat: clintele says: Are there any plans to make
a "Special Edition Producer's Cut" Video of MKA? A lot of us
want to see the missing stuff.

Alison Savitch: I'd love to do that cuz there are a few things
that I personally, and I think Larry, might have seen a little
differently on MKA, but we have lots of new things to do too, so
we'd have to have time to do that.

#mortalkombat: clintele says: Will Irena Panteva return as Jade
on MKC? Tracy Douglas, in two previous interviews, said she'd
love to have a snit with her character.

Alison Savitch: We talk to and see Irena when she comes to town.
She's a great girl and I'd love to work with her again. It just
depends on if it fits into the storyline.

So that is pretty much the story guys. I got this from the
official transcript at www.mortalkombat.com

Ms. Savich is a Threshold employee, co-producer and special
