NON-FUNCTIONING PROP - NOT AN ACTUAL FIREARM! This is
it folks - one of the rarest, coolest sci-fi weapon props around. Snake
Plissken's modified Mac 10 Machine Pistol. The base piece of this prop is an
all-metal Mac 10 non-gun with fully-functional auto/semi-auto setting, working
bolt & trigger and extended removable clip. A custom-machined (mock)
silencer twists onto the barrel and is removable. Atop the silencer is a
working Cosco long-range scope with accurate mounts. It is a one-of-a-kind, and
I have never seen any other Plissken gun replica other than the old Marco
Enterprises abortion molded from a squirtgun! So if you are an EFNY fan, have a
Snake Plissken costume or just want to chain the president to a wall and take
potshots at him like Isaac Hayes in the movie, then this is the prop for you!

Avco-Embassy Pictures was all hyped about their July
10, 1981 release of ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK. Any why not? It was from John
Carpenter, the director of the phenomenally successful HALLOWEEN. It had a huge
budget of over 7 million dollars. And it had a great cast - Kurt Russell,
Ernest Borgnine, Le Van Cleef, Issac Hayes, Season Hubkley, and Adrienne
Barbeau. They printed a large 12-sided mailer which was sent to theater owners
around the country, inviting them to begin bidding to play the film. This rare piece
comes with a letter from Avco-Embassy, and is a collector's item for all
Carpenter fans, particularly of this cult film classic. 1997 has come and gone,
and New York is not only NOT a prison, the crime rate is lower than ever. Guess
the movie scared everybody straight.

translucent. This, of course, is a unique collectable. Not all theatre's use
