Here is my review of "The Devil's Advocate".
Wow! I left the theatre with my knees shaking and my mind spinning.
This movie is a wonderful joyride that will keep
you on the edge of your seat and throw twists and turns
and surprises at you that you never expect.
Keanu was "can't take my eyes off the screen even to
blink" gorgeous, and his performance was emotionally
charged, powerful, and he was at his sexiest best. I felt
that he played a fantastic lawyer and the courtroom scenes
were amazing. I don't want to say that his
performance was flawless, but it was pretty darn close.
I was totally engrossed in his character.
The chemistry between he and Charlize Theron, who plays
his wife in the movie, was incredible. She was also
wonderful, and I thought she was beautiful, and I know
we'll be seeing a lot more of her in the future. Al Pacino
was a perfect devil, and he was fantastic. And, I have
to say, Keanu can act and hold his own with the
best of them!
The movie contains incredible special effects, a surprise
ending, and deals with sex, money, murder, horror, suspense,
religion, morality, family, good vs. evil, vanity,
and greed. It's all there!! This is one you will discuss long after
you see it. And you'll want to see it more than twice,
believe me. Just don't take the kids!! The "R" rating is
there for a reason.
Congratulations, Keanu on an outstanding job-AGAIN!
I'm so very proud of you.
And...I'd be on your jury anytime!!.........
