Not my Problem

I see you in the corner of my eye
as you walk down the street, your hair aflame
I can't help but thinking it was your own fault
to fall for his stupid game
And as your eyes turn towards the sky
I see you whispering, whispering a banned name

But hey..it's not my problem
I say as I turn and walk the other way
and its so easy to say it--
but I have to turn
turn and look
but it's not my problem

You should have seen it coming I tell you
but you do not listen at all
Your letting it sink into your vains
while watching your weakened heartbeat fall
and I sigh, I do not even really know you
sorry you couldn't stand, stand tall

But hey...it's not my problem
I think as I look the other way
and it's so easy to say it
but I have to turn
turn and look
but it's not my problem

So you'll be sleeping softly tonight
with marks on your arm and saltstains down your cheeks
and I won't see you again I guess
after wathcing your dead eyes for weeks
You never were a part of my life I think
but you sure were part of my days
And as I close my eyes I
I still see, I still see the expression in your face..

But hey...it's not my problem
I think as I let the thoughts go away
and it's so easy to say it
but I always have to turn
turn and look
but it's not my problem
not MY problem at all...
