It's Jolina's
birthday yesterday,
November 6! And today, she'll be celebrating her natal day in A.S.A.P.
So watch out for that!!! By the way, Jolina had returned from her
successful show in Japan and by mid-November she's off for a series of
shows for our countrymen in Dubai. The latest chika about her is that
her shows in the U.S. were flops! But of course, that isn't true and
read about Mr. Magdangal's statements in Sincerely
Yours. And also check out a new page in the Specials section...
that of BABY JOLINA!!! and check out BABY MARVIN!!! too
in the Loveteam section.

write-ups page now have pictures. Marvin's

Queens 2000. The problem with that site is we haven't completed it
yet but hopefully, very, very soon...we'll be able to finish it! The
special coverage section of write-ups isn't finished yet but do wait
for it and also wait for the completion of the Marvin

Vintage Jolina! That's
the most appropriate word to describe Jolina in the Star Awards for
TV...she had Sharon wishing to wear the same hairstyles Jolina was
wearing that night (ooppss, it wasn't actually a live presentation
since she had taped her segment before she left for the States). And
you'll be surprised to see Marvin Agustin when he had his hair dyed
blue that night (nahawa na kay Jolina). Unfortunately, SSKMA lost in
the Best Mini-Series category.
It's Jolina's birthday
next week and I'm going to send her all your birthday wishes...

Jolina
is the segment host of tonight's Star Awards for TV which will be
shown on Ch. 13 at 9pm. Marvin is nominated for Best Drama Actor
for his role as Ruben in Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako.
Jolina's I-Wear
Collection has been launched, along with her third single, Ang
Pag-Ibig Ko Na Ayaw Mo, from the album Jolina. Her eyewear
collection is available at Executive Opticals and also at Jolina's
Fashion Gallery.

Confirmed!
Yes, it's true that Marvin is going to have a movie with the
Megastar and the Prince of Drama.
What about Jolina?
She's definitely enjoying shooting her new movie for Star Cinema with
"Bad Boy" Robin Padilla. She has finished a two-day
concert in California (I expect it to be jampacked though I have no
details of the event yet). She opened a store (Jolina's Fashion
Gallery) in Cabanatuan City last September 26.

Congratulations
are in order for our babe! Jolina was
awarded last Sunday (Oct. 3) with a quadruple platinum award for her
self-titled album under Star Records. No other singer her age can
claim that feat! In the Philippines, the semester's almost over and
I'm under a mountain of projects and next week, the dreaded final
exams. When I graduate, I'm going to devote more time with my
Jolina site. So bear with me friends... for the lack of updates
but I'm trying my very best to cope with the demands of school and my
love for Jolina.
We all know by now that
she'll be having a concert series in the US in California.
She'll be back there again by the end of November in Reno, Nevada.
Of course, she'll also be singing her heart out in Japan. Just
watch out for her!
Jolina has started
shooting for her movie with Robin Padilla. No title yet for the
movie but we're sure that it's going to be a fun movie. And
Marvin, I heard, is going to star in Sharon Cuneta's movie. Of
course, that's just hearsay but keep your fingers crossed. (Mind you,
some say that Kristine Hermosa will also be in it.) Maybe you
haven't heard about this yet but my friend whispered that to me in
total confidentiality. (I know he's going to kill me for putting it
here.) Well, we're not sure yet if he will be in the movie but as I
say, he is being considered to be part of the film.

Most of the pics were taken from magazines so they are in poor quality
so I still have to make "retoke". Although I have some good
pics and I will post them next time and that's a promise!
And if you want to see
Marvin in his early "showbiz years", check out the telecine "KANBAS"
on Viva Cinema (Home and Destiny Cables only) on October 9 at 2pm.
Don't miss it. The telecine also stars Diether Ocampo (his hair
was longer then) and the TGIS stars such as Bobby Andrews, Michael
Flores, Red Sternberg, Raven Villanueva among others. He was
still a beginner then but he acts definitely better than all his
co-stars in the telecine.

Welcome!
To the "new" Princess of Hearts site. Well, we did have a
facelift, although it isn't a major one. First of all, I want to
reiterate that this is an "unofficial fan site." For
the fans of Jolina and made by a fan of Jolina. To those who
have been sending e-mails, sorry to disappoint you but I am not Jolina.
I just did the site for love of Jolens. Like you, I like her so
much that I am willing to spend some time on this site and share with
you the latest about what's happening to her career. Also, I
have friends in the States who don't have access to magazines, news,
etc. I type news articles for them and send them pics. One of
them thought, why not do a website instead so more people will have
news about Jolina? And why not? But don't ya worry, I'll be forwarding
your mails to Jolina. Again, for love of Jolina!
May I add, Marvin has a
new commercial! Dream come true for him.

Updates
have been delayed...our ISP's off for almost a week. Anyways,
we've updated the loveteam page and by next week, we're going to have
a facelift (kind of a new look actually). So what's the latest
with our fave? From what I've heard, she's preparing to star in a
movie with Robin Padilla. Okay, that's an "old" news
but they are set to start filming before the month ends. In the
first week of October though, Jolina will have a concert tour in
western U.S. beginning in Pasadena on October 9 at the Pasadena Civics
Center with no other than Kuya Randy Santiago and then on the
following day in San Diego. Hay naku mga relatives, manood kayo
ha! I predict that her concerts will be successful (like all of
her concerts here). And how about the other half of the MAJ
loveteam? Well, Marvin will be filming Esperanza the Movie
this week and you should watch out for him in MTB (Magandang
Tanghali Bayan) as he will be a co-host of the show. I've been
reading some rumors that Marvin's going out with a girl? And holy cow
it isn't Jolina? Well I'm sure that with his schedule (Esperanza
shooting, tapings, etc) he doesn't really have any time to go out with
anybody. And before I forget, there are rumors that Marvin is
going to be a mainstay of Richard Loves Lucy (just after
Jolina's out of the show) together with Kristine Hermosa? Let's
just wait and see... Another pahabol, a lot of you have been
requesting for the transcript of Jolina's interview by Ms. Balitang K
herself... we'll see what we can do about that. For the
meantime, browse the writeups page and the loveteam page
for some new stuffs.

So what's new about our
dear Jolina? Nothing much, just a triple platinum award, a tpp-rating
and trendsettting show, a super-blockbuster movie and future shows
outside the country.
For receiving a
triple platinum award, Jolina is said to be the
younngest multi-platinum awardee. Her movie, Hey Babe!
grossed beyond expectations. Some magazines report that it
grossed P5 million on its first day and P7 million, second
day. At any rate (or figure for that matter), the movie
is a big box-office success.
Reports say that Jolina
will be having a series of shows in Pasadena, San Diego
and Japan. So watch out for her!
Incidentally, I would
like to discuss with you the mailing list. Why
not join our mailing list? So far, I am the
only member of the newsgroup. The mailing list is a good way to
know and meet other Jolina fans, interact with each other
and share news and experiences...so join now!

In
yesterday's edition of Balitang K, they held a survey as to who are
the most popular young stars and loveteam today. There were 300
respondents and the results:
Most Popular Female
Young Star -- Jolina Magdangal with 126 votes
Most Popular Male Young
Star -- Marvin Agustin with 89 votes
Most Popular Loveteam
-- Marvin and Jolina with 211 votes
Judy Ann was second and
Claudine third. Wowie, Rico and Diether followed Marvin,
respectively. And in the loveteam category, JudyAnn-Wowie was
second and Claudine-Diether third.
And of course, Hey Babe
opened in Metro Manila theatres last week. And it's definitely a
box-office success. I have watched the movie in a
standing-room-only SM cinema. Congratulations goes to
Jolina and Marvin! I love them both!.
Incidentally, Jolina is
set to start shooting her movie with Robin Padilla next month
(September)!
