- I've only seen him as Agent Smith in "The Matrix" (1999), but liked his performance so much that I just had to have his autograph
- his father Wallace was first into oil, than into computerbusiness, his mother Anne is a Sydney tour guide
- his older brother Simon is a consultant for the Fiji Sugar Corporation, and his younger sister Anna is a jazz singer
- he is married to Katrina Greenwod, and has two kids with her: Holly and Harry
- Weaving is a very well known actor in australia, but obviously had his international breakthrough performance in "The Matrix" (1999)
