Hello, my name is Michael. I was born on November 8, 1996. I live in Minnesota with my mom and dad, Lisa and Tony. Michael on the cover of the Minneapolis Children's Hospital Magazine, Sept. issue.

The picture above is me with nurse Trisha Niemi taken at the Minneapolis Children's Hospital. We have a lot in common, nurse Niemi had cancer when she was a little girl, on July 2, 1998 I had a tumor removed from my head. The tumor was diagnosed as a "Rhabdoid Tumor" of the brain, it is sometimes called an "Atypical Teratoid Tumor". I hope to be able to share my story with friends, relatives, and any other kids who develop this type of tumor.
