Silent Tears

Childhood dreams fill the sky,
Tears of joy cloud her eyes.
A miracle of life begun,
The promise of a Prince to come.

Days of darkness and despair,
Clouds of sorrow fill the air.
A mother's love he never knew,
Begins the endless journey through.

A world so harsh and without grace,
The Little Prince must now embrace.
She never knew there was no light,
The newborn child begins his fight.

Silent tears, silent smiles,
Broken hearts and endless miles.
The love of God can not compare,
To this child's will and Mother's care.

Sirens crash and metal screams,
Hopelessness drowns out her dreams.
Time stands still as it rushes by,
The tiny child who does not cry.

An end is near the beginning arrives,
Mother and Child bond their lives.
A light shines dim as darkness glows,
The precious Prince wins hearts and grows.

Soft winds blow warm rays of sun,
His smiling face shows he has won.
A journey guided from above,
The enduring force his Mother's love.

Silent tears, silent smiles,
Broken hearts and endless miles.
The love of God can not compare,
To this child's will and Mother's care.

Love, Daddy
