Pictures and records (Birth, Death, Marriage, Wills, Obits, ext.…) being added as I receive them from family and friends.
Our Goal is to put together a lasting, comprehensive record of our family history for future generations.
I started researching genealogy as a junior high class project in 1969 and have grown to love it. I have seen many places and meet so many wonderful people. But there have been setbacks, several times I followed the wrong line that cost me months of backtracking, Found records that were transcribed incorrectly. Believed info found on the Internet to be correct only to find the inevitable truth. (you should consider any info found on the web to be a research tool only). And most devastating of all, I lost about 75% of my family files to a house fire in 1990. But all in all I’d say researching genealogy is very rewarding.
