"Austin James McCormick"
Blessed his parents----- July 15, 1998
Went to play with Angels---July 18, 1998
God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be.  So He wrapped his arms around you, and he whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through, so he gave you rest.  Gods garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain, I could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.
(We love you little Austin,
Love Mommy and Daddy)
A Baby's Secret
I'm just a little boy, Who didn't quite make it here,   I went straight to be with Jesus But I'm waiting for you there.
Don't you fret about me mommy, I'm of all God's lambs most blessed;  I'd have loved to stay there with you, But the shepherd knows what's best.
Many, dwelling here where I live, Waited years to enter in; Struggled through a world of sorrow, And their lives were marred with sin.
So sweet mommy don't you sorrow, Wipe those tears and chase the gloom,  I went straight to Jesus bosom From my lovely Mother's womb.
Thank you for the life you gave me It was brief but don't complain;  I have all of heaven's glory Suffered none of earthling's pain.
Thank you for the name you gave me, I'd loved to brought it fame;  But if I'd lingered in earth's shadows Might instead have bro't it shame.
Daddy gave me something for you, It's our secret mommy dear.  Pressed it tight against my forehead, Whispered in my tiny ear.
I'll be waiting for you, mommy - You, and Daddy, and my big sis.  I'll be with you then forever - Then I'll give you Daddy's Kiss.

Little Angels

When God calls little children to dwell with Him above,  We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child Who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So He picks a rosebud, before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but a few,  To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind, Must realize that God loves the  children,
   Angels are hard to find.
