I had no ideal when I voiced

The wishes of my heart

That it could almost shake our world apart.

If I had known what it might do

I would have weighed the cost

And realized it wasn't worth

The years that might be lost.

But I am grateful that your love

Was strong enough to try

To bridge the gap, and that you found

You couldn't say good-bye.
