Minutes for the March 8th, 2000 Meeting

Call to order

Muster

Thanks to all the kids who also helped at the muster.

Congratulations to Gene and his crew on winning the muster games. Thanks to Joe for the excellent MC duty!

Cheri suggested a banner for fire muster to put up on the day
Advertise more and sanction.

Newcomer basket

Suggested again - not sure about what they should consist of - what's around town/available.

Fund-raising

Burn Camp - needs people to go out and obtain raffle items

Reading Council - community service, sign up sheet

Auxilary Shirts - still a few left @$6.50

Two new members - Jill and Clara - challenged to bring new member

Fire Dept Ball - September - centennial banquet

Mother's day picnic - reserve a ramada at the park and do a pot luck
Carla will check into it - Ramada 10 - $10
13 may 2000 evening 4 - 8 pm
Notify the Captain's so stations can rotate

Tissue carnations for mom
